UPDATE: Why this blog?
Since graduation I’ve been able to explore various options in regards to my future and have decided to pick this blog up as more than a resume tool. I plan on generating my own content, ranging from observations to thoughts. Expect a lot of college basketball observations whether that be of teams, players, coaches, recruiting, X’s & O’s, etc.

Then again, nothing is set in stone so I may just fire from the hip. Hopefully you’ll bear with me.

Some events that I covered as a credentialed member of the media are the 2009 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, 2009 SEC Basketball Media Day, 2010 SEC Basketball Tournament and the 2010 Ole Miss Football Pro Day. Among those events, I also covered SEC football, SEC men’s and women’s basketball, SEC baseball, SEC soccer, and SEC volleyball.

Aside from that, I have covered multiple events for ESPNU, Rivals, CSS, ChuckOliver.net, Sports Radio 790 The Zone (Atlanta) and have freelanced for various sites.

I also have experience on the public relations side by working in collegiate athletics media relations.
